Introduction, What You Will See On My Blog

I LOVE ANIMALS! I have since a young age, My name is Lia and I am a strong 11 year old animal activist. I have very strong opinions on the ways animals (mostly always domesticated) are and have been treated. My favorite types of animals to share my opinions on are dogs. I love any other animals to, personally I have a cat named jack. He is great. He was a rescue they found him stray under a deck when he was a kitten. I have very strong opinions on what society has named dangerous deadly dogs called "pitbulls". Society has named some breeds of terriers pitbulls. Its a very loosely used term, people who unfamiliar to the term will use it on mutts, and other unidentified breeds or mixed breeds.   🐾

My Opinions On Breeders

My opinions on breeders are not that great. I believe that people should adopt and not "shop" for animals. My thought is that if you adopt an animal you are saving that animals life, because if that shelter is a no-kill shelter that's great they won't get killed, but they are still living more of their life in a kennel. On the other hand if you have a killing shelter near you most likely those dogs and cats that someone could have been adopting will be put on death row and be killed. Also have you ever thought about what the mother cats and dogs go through? Some breeders only use a mom dog once to breed but most of the time they are used more than once and they have little to no time to rest before their next litter of pups. Another problem with buying animals is pet stores. Most pet stores get their dogs from animal mills where no animal is treated well.
